Basant festival returns to Lahore after a gap of seventeen years, many celebrities have publicized their enthusiasm, to celebrate this festival lots of Pakistani stars travelled to Lahore, such as including Saboor Aly, Sajal Aly, Ali Ansari, Soniya Hussain, Imran Ashraf, Fiza Ali and Ayeza Khan shared a video celebrating Basant, which made it to their Instagram stories and reels.

However, the enjoyment, speedily twisted controversial as public annoyance blow up over timing and seeming selfishness.

Many users criticized stars for sharing celebration videos without acknowledging the pain felt by affected families nationwide.

Another commented bluntly: “They didn’t even care about what happened in Islamabad. Why can’t they stop Basant for the innocent martyrs?

“They don’t love Pakistan, for sure!”

One said: “Islamabad is bleeding. Stop sharing this sh*t. Focus on real problems.”

Another remark summed up frustration sharply, saying:

“It’s all good now because you all made a video out of it.”
