Over 38,000 Pakistanis Deported from Gulf Countries in 2025

According to a report presented in the National Assembly, more than 38,000 Pakistani nationals were deported from Gulf countries during 2025. The highest number of deportations occurred from Saudi Arabia.

The official documents revealed that 27,692 Pakistanis were deported from Saudi Arabia, followed by 6,794 from the United Arab Emirates, 2,537 from Oman, 786 from Bahrain, 644 from Qatar, and 163 from Kuwait.

Among the deportees, 780 Pakistanis were sent back on charges of begging, including 767 from Saudi Arabia, 10 from the UAE, 2 from Qatar, and 1 from Oman. Additionally, 1,025 individuals were deported due to drug-related cases, while 109 were sent back over theft allegations. Illegal entry cases led to 4,872 deportations.

The report also highlighted that 1,933 Pakistanis were deported due to lost passports, and 1,639 were removed for being on blacklists.

These figures reflect ongoing challenges faced by Pakistanis working in the Gulf and underscore the importance of legal compliance and proper documentation for overseas workers.
