Earthquake tremors were felt in Sost and nearby areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, causing brief concern among residents. Seismological authorities confirmed that a mild earthquake occurred in the region.

According to official data, the earthquake measured 4.1 on the Richter scale and was recorded at a depth of 30 kilometers.

The seismic monitoring center reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was located approximately 34 kilometers west of Sost.
