Iran Navy Vows to Defend National Security Despite Enemy Threats

Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani has reaffirmed the force’s commitment to defending the country and safeguarding national security, warning that any attempt to weaken the Navy by targeting its personnel would be a serious miscalculation.

Speaking to naval personnel in the northern city of Rasht on Sunday, Irani said the Navy would continue its missions “strongly and resolutely” while following the path established by those who sacrificed their lives for Iran. He stressed that the legacy and flag entrusted by the martyrs must be preserved with dignity, strength and honor and passed on to future generations.

Irani said the Navy remains a “live, dynamic and powerful” force whose personnel continue to perform their duties with the same determination demonstrated by the fallen servicemen. He maintained that Iran’s path toward dignity and independence would continue through resistance and steadfastness, emphasizing that the resolve of the Iranian people and armed forces would not be broken by enemy pressure.
