Armed Resistance Against Taliban Regime Intensifies in Afghanistan

Armed resistance against the Taliban regime in Afghanistan has reportedly intensified in several parts of the country.

The Taliban regime is facing growing armed opposition in different areas, with attacks by armed groups and internal divisions raising questions about its claims of having full control over Afghanistan.

According to Afghan media outlet Amaj News, clashes between the Afghanistan Freedom Front and Taliban forces in Badakhshan reportedly killed four Taliban personnel and injured seven others.

The anti-Taliban National Resistance Front (NRF) said one Taliban member was killed and six others were injured during a resistance operation in Ragh district of Kohistan, Badakhshan.

The NRF also claimed that the attack caused significant financial losses to the Taliban while civilians remained safe during the operation.

The NRF said targeted operations would continue across Afghanistan in what it described as efforts to free the country from Taliban control.

Experts say armed movements active in Badakhshan, Herat, Takhar and other Afghan provinces could further challenge the Taliban regime.

They said the spread of armed resistance against the Taliban is a sign of weakening control and growing public dissatisfaction in parts of Afghanistan.
