PM Shehbaz Sharif met with the Crown Prince of Kuwait on the sidelines of UN General Assembly 2026

New York: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on the sidelines of the high-level segment of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The prime minister conveyed warm greetings to the Crown Prince and reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong and brotherly relations with Kuwait.

The two leaders reviewed bilateral ties and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the importance Pakistan attaches to its relations with Kuwait and noted the potential for enhanced cooperation in trade, investment, energy and human resource development.

The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments and reiterated their shared commitment to promoting peace, stability and prosperity.
