Ishaq Dar, Iranian Foreign Minister Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments at UNGA

NEW YORK: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The two foreign ministers discussed Pakistan-Iran bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and international developments.

Ishaq Dar underscored the importance of dialogue, diplomacy and sustained engagement in promoting regional peace and stability.

The two sides also discussed matters of mutual interest and reaffirmed the importance of continued communication between Pakistan and Iran.

Both ministers agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on bilateral, regional and international issues.
