Funeral Prayers Held for Two Martyred Policemen in Karak

The funeral prayers of two police personnel who were martyred in firing by militants in Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were offered.

Station House Officer (SHO) Daud Khan and police official Farhad were martyred in the firing incident in New Karpah, Karak district.

A large number of police officers and personnel attended the funeral prayers. A police contingent presented a salute to the martyrs and laid floral wreaths in their honour.

The bodies of the martyred personnel were sent to their native areas for burial with full official honours and respect.

According to the provided information, no representative of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister or the provincial government attended the funeral prayers.

The statement also criticised the PTI-led government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, alleging that it had left the province at the mercy of militants while remaining engaged in political activities.
