Army Chief’s Iftar for cricketers rescheduled for April 8

The schedule for the Iftar-dinner being hosted by Army Chief General Asim Munir for the players of the Pakistani cricket team participating in the Kakul camp has been changed.

The Army Chief had earlier invited the cricketers participating in the Kakul camp to an iftar-dinner on April 7. However, the schedule has been changed and the national cricketers have now been invited to the event on April 8.

Along with the Army Chief, senior officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces will also attend the iftar-dinner. Besides, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will also attend the Iftar dinner.

Army Chief General Asim Munir has invited the Pakistani cricket team players currently at the Kakul camp for an Iftar.

Sources said that April 7 will be the last day of Pakistani players at the Kakul camp, which will be terminated before April 8.

Pakistan cricketers are currently busy at a fitness camp in Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, Abbottabad, to prepare for the upcoming sporting events.

The 29 members of the national side including returning Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim are currently busy at the camp.
