Babar Azam getting married soon

Pakistan cricket team’s wicketkeeper batter Muhammad Rizwan has said Babar Azam is going to get married soon after my advice.

Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan also got married after my advice, Rizwan said while speaking to a local TV.

He said that he wants the attributes of faith to be fulfilled soon. Marriage is the command of Allah, who has made the relationship between husband and wife very sacred.

Rizwan said that he is very friendly with Babar Azam and both stay in the room till late night. Babar Azam and I consult each other on different aspects of life, he added.

He said that before going to someone else’s room we message but nothing like that between Babar Azam and me as anytime we both go to each other’s room. Babar Azam and I keep learning from each other, the opened further said.

He said that bowlers have been coming to Pakistan’s domestic cricket for a long time. Ehsanullah, Asif Ali, Muhammad Ali emerged from Multan Sultans. There was a time when players from Lahore, Karachi and Sialkot used to come.

Rizwan said that club cricket in Peshawar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is of a very high standard. They come to play Pakistan matches at night and also play club matches in the morning. The cricketers of the province are very hard working.

Rizwan said: “I like being called a cricketer, performance goes up and down. I have given myself confidence with poems written on trucks. I look up to Multan Sultans coach Abdur Rahman to gain confidence these days.”

Abdur Rahman has seen many difficulties as he also received threats for becoming the coach of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rizwan recalled.

The wicketkeeper batter further said that his education is not much but he completed his intermediate from Islamia College.

He said that education is important along with cricket.  Misbah-ul-Haq, Muhammad Hafeez and Shan Masood are examples, he said, adding there should be sports scholarship in Pakistan’s educational system.
