Major Traffic Jam Hits Karachi Near Drigh Road

KARACHI: Commuters faced severe delays on Sharae Faisal near Drigh Road on Friday after a Red Bus broke down, traffic authorities said.

The breakdown occurred on the track coming from Karachi Airport towards Drigh Road, causing a major disruption in traffic flow. Authorities are trying to remove the bus to clear the road.

Traffic on the highway from the airport into the city came to a standstill, with long queues of vehicles forming in both directions. Motorcyclists were seen using the railway tracks near Drigh Road to bypass the congestion.

Traffic police urged commuters to remain patient and advised alternative routes until the road is cleared.
