PM Shehbaz visits Mazar-e-Quaid

In his first visit to Karachi after assuming office of the prime minister, Premier Shehbaz Sharif has arrived at the airport, where he was received by Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori.

The prime minister is accompanied by Cabinet members. From the airport, the prime minister along with the Governor Tessori and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah flew via helicopter to the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam, where he offered Fateha. The prime minister also recorded his impressions in the visitors’ book.

He is scheduled to hold meetings with the chief minister, governor and representatives of business community today.

The prime minister will also be briefed on various projects related to the port city. Delegations of other political parties will also meet the prime minister during the visit.

Last month, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had expressed his anger over the increase in the price of gas.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued orders to the Ministry of Energy to complete 16 tasks in one to three months, while also directing them to submit a forensic audit report on the recent increase in gas prices in one month.

They said that the prime minister has expressed his anger over the recent increase in the price of gas and has directed to submit a report on gas infrastructure, gas theft and poor performance in three months.
