Rumoured James Bond Aaron Taylor-Johnson breaks silence

It has been about three years when we last saw famous James Bond movie with Daniel Craig embracing the iconic 007 role. Since then there have been noting but speculations about Craig’s successor.

However, rumours once again started floating involving the next James Bond with the British tabloid “The Sun” reporting that British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson had been offered the role of 007.

The 33-year-old actor has featured in number of movies and is associated with the Marvel franchise.

The publication citing an unnamed source reported that “Bond is Aaron’s job, should he wish to accept it. The formal offer is on the table, and they are waiting to hear back.”

Though, both CNN and BBC confirmed that the ‘Kraven the Hunter’ superstar has not been casted for the Bond franchise.

Other actors who were in contention for the British spy role are Henry Cavill and Irish actor and recent Oscar for Best Actor winner Cillian Murphy.

Moreover, Aaron while speaking with Rolling Stone UK, said that he will never be a part of the “pop culture studio film” machine.

When asked about the reports that he is in talks to become the next James Bond, Aaron replied, “I can only really talk about the things I’m going to show and tell. I don’t feel like I need to have a future drawn out for me. I feel like, whatever’s drawn out for me, I can f****n’ do better.”
