Saudi Arabia to induct One million Pakistani workers each year for Saudi Vision 2030

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM)  Jawad Sohrab Malik in a significant development at Islamabad aimed at bolstering the execution of Saudi Vision 2030 supported the proposal of employing one million workers each year.

Currently over 5 million Pakistanis travel to Saudia for various types of jobs bringing significant remittance for Pakistan.

Jawad Sohrab Malik observes the potential the cooperation to surge even higher, possibly reaching over one million, considering the diverse skill sets and labour force Pakistan can offer to Saudia Arabia.

The SAPM said that Pakistani government’s efforts to build a skilled Labour Force Pool, effectively tapping into the immense potential of the country’s youth in areas such as digitisation, services, and tourism.

The Saudi ambassador expressed support for the proposal presented by SAPM Jawad Sohrab Malik. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recognises the vital role Pakistani workers can play in the successful implementation of Saudi Vision 2030 and the diversification of the Saudi economy.

Jawad Sohrab Malik expressed his gratitude to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman for his unwavering support to Pakistan in various economic, strategic, and bilateral matters, highlighting the dynamic and visionary leadership of the Kingdom.
