Karen Sofía Quiroz Ramírez, the Colombian motorcycle content creator known online as “Biker Girl Karen,” tragically lost her life in a highway accident in Floridablanca, Colombia. The 25-year-old social media star, who shared her rides and motorcycle lifestyle on Instagram and TikTok, died on Wednesday, November 26.

Early reports indicate that her motorcycle collided with a Chevrolet Spark before being struck by a truck traveling on the same road. First responders confirmed that Ramírez died at the scene. Law enforcement authorities are still investigating the exact sequence of events leading to the crash.

“The most likely hypothesis for the accident is that the motorcyclist was traveling between two vehicles,” transport official Jahir Andres told the Daily Mail on Saturday, November 29, referring to the practice often called “lane splitting.” Andres added, “This situation will be subject to an investigation. The Prosecutor’s Office will proceed to clearly and precisely determine the cause of this fatal traffic accident. We will carry out the corresponding investigations, conduct the respective interviews with witnesses, and analyze the CCTV footage.”

In early November, she shared an image of a floral bouquet with the caption, “Value me, don’t forget how hard it is to handle flowers.” On October 5, she turned 25 and marked her birthday with photos captioned with her age and a sparkle emoji.
