Federal Ministers Criticize PTI Over Remarks on ‘Maarka-e-Haq’

Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has described Maarka-e-Haq as a historic success, saying that Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos astonished the world and showcased Pakistan’s capabilities. Speaking to the media, he termed recent remarks by Noreen Niazi regarding Maarka-e-Haq as regrettable and said the statement deserved the strongest condemnation.

Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that comments undermining what he described as a national achievement were unacceptable. He stressed that national unity should take precedence over political differences, particularly on matters related to the country’s security and defense.

Meanwhile, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry accused the PTI leadership of pursuing politics that, in his view, harms Pakistan’s interests. He alleged that the party’s founder was a “proxy” that had been nurtured for a specific purpose, while criticizing the party’s political conduct. PTI has previously rejected similar allegations, maintaining that its political struggle is aimed at strengthening democracy and serving Pakistan’s national interests.
