Iran Says US-Iran MoU Had No 60-Day Deadline

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei has said that the memorandum of understanding (MoU) reached between Iran and the United States did not include any 60-day deadline. He said Washington violated the ceasefire just weeks after the agreement was signed, raising questions about the US commitment to the understandings reached between the two sides.
Baghaei also said the issue of the three Iranian pilots in Qatar remains an important matter for Tehran. He stressed that Iran has been closely following the situation of the pilots from the beginning and continues to pursue the issue through relevant channels.
Commenting on security concerns in the Strait of Hormuz, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman attributed the instability in the strategic waterway to what he described as illegal US actions. He emphasized that Tehran considers the security of the strait a significant regional issue and continues to monitor developments closely.
