Mokhber Warns US Against Renewed Aggression, Invokes Iran’s Historical Resistance

Drawing parallels with historical invasions of Iran by the Mongols and Romans, Mokhber said foreign powers had either been compelled to adapt to Iran’s culture and civilization or suffered defeat. He asserted that the United States would face a similar fate, amid tensions over the Strait of Hormuz and Washington’s efforts to pressure Tehran into reopening the strategic waterway. “The new invaders, who with their small minds imagine overcoming this historical nation, will this time be drowned in the Strait of Hormuz,” he said.

Mokhber also warned that any renewed US aggression would provoke a response from Iran extending beyond its previous reactions. His remarks reflect Tehran’s increasingly forceful rhetoric amid the confrontation over maritime access, sanctions and regional security. The statements represent Iran’s official-aligned position, while the potential course and consequences of any further escalation remain uncertain.
