APHC asks UN secretary general to resolve Kashmir dispute as per UNSC resolutions. 

In a statement today, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference made this appeal while paying glowing tributes to the nine Kashmiri youth whom Indian troops killed in Shopian.

The APHC called upon UN Secretary General Anthony Guterres to resolve the Kashmir dispute as per relevant resolutions of the Security Council.

Meanwhile, APHC spokesman said that the Kashmiri youth are sacrificing their lives for the sake of freedom from India.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian troops during cordon and search operations had killed nine youth and destroyed around two dozen houses in Raiban and Melhoora areas of Shopian district over the past two days.

Meanwhile, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism arrested over a dozen youth during cordon and search operations and nocturnal raids in different areas of Pulwama district.

Further, Jammu and Kashmir Ummat-e-Islami and Ittehad-e-Islami have also strongly condemned the killing of innocent youth and destruction of houses during the so-called operation by Indian troops in Shopian district.

Ummat-e-Islami leader, Qazi Yasir during a visit to the victim families appealed to the people to come forward to help out the needy families.

In a statement, the leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement, Muhammad Shafi Lone said, Indian troops have made the lives of Kashmiri people miserable in the name of coronavirus.

On the other hand, during COVID 19 spread, Indian troops continue their cordon and search operations in Srinagar, Baramulla, Bandipore, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Budgam, Islamabad, Pulwama, Kulgam, Ramban, Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Doda and other towns and villages of the districts making the daily life of the people a hell.

However, Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Sikh Intellectuals Circle, Narinder Singh Khalsa, has said that Sikh community will continue to strive for honourable resolution of the Kashmir dispute as per UN resolutions.
