Four Kashmiris martyred during 24 hours

They martyred two more Kashmiri youth in Islamabad district, today (Moday).

It took the toll to five in the past twenty-four hours in the territory.

The youth embraced martyrdom during a cordon and search operation in Srigufwara area of the district.

Earlier, Indian troops firing in the same area also injured a woman.

In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two more youth in Baramulla district today (Sunday) taking the tally to four within 24 hours in the territory.

The youth were killed by troops during a cordon and search operation at Rebban in Sopore area of the district.

On Saturday, Indian troops martyred two youth during a military operation in Handwara area of in Kupwara district.

Meanwhile, Indian police arrested senior Hurriyat leader and Chairman of Tehreek Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Sahrai and booked him under the draconian Public Safety Act in Srinagar, today (Sunday).

However, Kashmiris are observing the Kashmir Martyrs Day despite Indian atrocities.

They are paying homage to martyrs of 13 July 1931.

In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown observed today (Monday) to mark the Day.
