UN ask India and Pakistan to reduce tensions and engage in a dialogue.

UN Under-Secretary-General for Counter-Terrorism Vladimir Voronkov said this, while talking to Pakistan Permanent Representative to United Nations Ambassador Munir Akram in New York.

He called upon India and Pakistan to pursue solutions in accordance with the United Nations Charter and Security Council resolutions.

During the meeting, the Permanent Representative handed over the dossier to him regarding Indian involvement in terrorist activities against Pakistan.

On the other hand, Kashmir Media Service Research Section released a report on the completion of 16 months to the military siege.

Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government imposed unrelenting military siege on August 05, last year.

Since then Indian troops martyred 291 Kashmiris, including 7 women during the period in occupied Kashmir (IOJK).

It said that the killings by the troops during the last 16 months rendered 16 women widowed and 36 children orphaned.

Moreover, the report pointed out Indian troops used brute force against peaceful demonstrators in the IOJK.

That left at least 1,577 people critically injured.

Meanwhile, APHC General Secretary Molvi Bashir Ahmed said that stepped up cordon and search operations made the life of the people of the territory a hell.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader said this in a statement issued in Srinagar.

He further said that India’s brutal actions, including use of military force in the occupied territory posed a serious threat to peace and security in the region.

He said that Narendra Modi-led Indian fascist government has intensified its efforts to impose the Hindutva agenda of RSS in the territory.
