Azam Khan Swati assumed the charge as  Minister for Railways

Azam Khan Swati assumes the charge as  Minister for Railways today (Monday).

Newly appointed Minister for Railways assumed the charge of the Ministry during his first visit.

His predecessor Sheikh Rashid Ahmed accompanied him.

On the occasion, both the Federal Ministers expressed best wishes to each other for their new responsibilities.

Azam Swati lauded Sheikh Rashid Ahmed for his outstanding performance as Railways Minister in last two years.

Meanwhile, Chairman Pakistan Railways Habib-ur-Rehman Gilani briefed the new Railways Minister about functioning of the organization.

Speaking on the occasion, Azam Khan Swati pledged to ensure safety and provide best service to the passengers.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed Sheikh Rasheed as Interior Minister.

The PM appointed Azam Swati as Railways Minister.

Due to that Sheikh Rashid switched to Interior Ministry.
