Close aide to PM sees public rejection of PDM narrative as anti democracy.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam said today people have rejected the opposition’s narrative because it goes against democracy as well as the country.

He said this, wile addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Furthermore, the Special Assistant termed the PDM’s last public gathering in Lahore a flopped show.

He said PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz and PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari raise questions about Ten Billion Tree Tsunami project.

But he said expressed willingness to show them on ground implementation of the project in various parts of the country.

Malik Amin Aslam further said people support Prime Minister Imran Khan because he is devising policies keeping in view aspirations of the people.

He said the PM also keeps in view the needs of the future generations.

The SAPM said Prime Minister Imran Khan was selected among top speakers in the recently held Global Climate Action Summit because of his vision on climate change.

Ten Billion Tree Tsunami

He said the Prime Minister informed the world forum that Pakistan has been implementing Ten Billion Tree Tsunami.

The PM also informed the world of Protected Areas projects under Nature-based Initiatives to address the climate change issues.

Malik Amin Aslam said the Prime Minister also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to enhance share of renewable energy to 60 percent by 2030.

He said the government also plans to convert 30 percent vehicles on electricity by 2030 under its Electric Vehicles Policy.
