Pakistan imposes travel ban for 12 countries due to surge in Coronavirus cases.

Civil Aviation Authority has updated its travel advisory putting a complete travel ban for international travelers from 12 Category C countries.

It issued new policy in the wake of resurge in Coronavirus cases.

The Authority has withdrawn all earlier exemptions given to Pakistani passport holders, Pakistan Origin Cardholders, and those having National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis.

Category C countries include Botswana, Brazil, Colombia, Comoros, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Peru, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zambia.

Meanwhile, Pakistan reported 3667 new cases of Coronavirus during last 24 hours.

According to NCOC, 44 more people died due to deadly Covid.

On the other hand, lab tests confirmed 3667 news positive cases of coronavirus infection.

Meanwhile, the death toll from the pandemic has now reached 13843.

So far, 581,852 people have been recovered from the disease.

Meanwhile, Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has appealed to the people to must adopt all Standard Operating Procedures against coronavirus pandemic.

He noted current third wave of Coronavirus as too lethal as compared to previous one.

He expressed these views, while talking to a private news channel.

However, he also clarified that Covid19 had infected Prime Minister Imran Khan before vaccination.

He said the symptoms take a few days before manifesting.

The head of NCOC also dispelled the rumours about the efficacy of Coronavirus vaccination.
