Tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians jubilated after returning to home northern Gaza on Monday.
Israel opened a corridor into the north of the Gaza Strip on Monday, after 15 months of war. The passage opening faced a 48-hour delay than initially planned.
The Israel blamed Hamas for the delay, saying the group breached the terms of the ceasefire agreement that guaranteed people would be able to return to the north.
However, once it opened, people were overjoyed as they started returning to their land after a long time.
An adorable video of Palestinian children signing while returning to northern Gaza also went viral on social media.
