Ex-Indian tennis star Sania Mirza removes Shoaib Malik’s name from Dubai home

Sania Mirza, the Indian tennis star, has removed the name of her former husband Shoaib Malik from her Dubai house, replacing it with their son Azhan’s.

The development came as she finalises her new villa in the Gulf state. She is planning to move to new house with her son.

Meedia reports said that the villa’s construction is now completed and final touches are underway before she shifts into the new home.

Sania Mirza has been residing in the UAE with Azhan for an extended period.

The former tennis star emphasised that her son is now her top priority and best friend.

She got divorce from former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik in 2024, ending their 14-year marriage. The couple’s son Azhan was born in 2017.

There have been speculation about Mirza’s personal life linking her to UAE-based business tycoon Adeeb Sajan.

There has been, however, no confirmation regarding the nature of their relationship.

Aseeb Sajan is reportedly involved in designing Mirza’s new home.
