Punjab Matric Results to Be Announced on July 24, 2025

All education boards across Punjab will announce the Matric annual exam results simultaneously on July 24, 2025, according to sources in the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC).

The decision was made during a high-level meeting of board chairmen from across the province. Officials confirmed that delays in paper checking are the main reason for postponing the result announcement. Despite the delay, efforts are underway to complete the process in time for the new date.

Rawalpindi Board Cancels HSSC Part-I Islamiyat Paper

In a separate development, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has officially cancelled the Islamiyat paper of HSSC Part-I.

This decision came after student complaints that several questions were outside the prescribed syllabus. Examination staff immediately alerted the board during the exam, leading to the paper’s cancellation in the interest of fairness.

The cancelled paper will now be reconducted on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in the first group. Students will appear in the same examination centres under their original roll numbers.

Reactions from Parents and Teachers

The move was widely appreciated by parents and educators, who said out-of-syllabus questions are unfair and harm students’ confidence.

“Students work hard within the syllabus. Giving questions from outside the course is unjust,” said a teacher from Rawalpindi.

Experts urged paper-setters to strictly follow syllabus guidelines, ensuring that students’ efforts aren’t wasted due to careless errors.
