Funeral prayer of Major Syed Muiz Abbas Shah offered at Chaklala Garrison

The funeral prayer for Major Syed Muiz Abbas Shah was held at Chaklala Garrison in Rawalpindi. Major Shah was martyred during a fierce fight against Khawarij insurgents in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan. The prayer ceremony was attended by Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and other senior military officials.
Field Marshal Asim Munir spoke about Major Shah’s bravery and sacrifice. He said Major Muiz gave his life while performing his duty. “He showed the true spirit of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism,” the Army Chief added. He also assured the nation’s full support for the martyr’s family.
The Army Chief emphasized that the blood of martyrs strengthens the nation and called on everyone to honor their sacrifices. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major Muiz was engaged in a tough battle against insurgents when he was martyred. The fight took place in the troubled Sararogha area of South Waziristan.
