Thailand visa fee, bank statement & online process for Pakistanis

Pakistani citizens need a visit visa before travelling to Thailand as tourists. Thailand is becoming a popular destination because of its vibrant culture, beautiful beaches, and rich history, making it a great place to enjoy vacations.

To make the process easier, Thailand has introduced an e-visa facility for Pakistani travellers. This means you no longer need to visit the embassy in person to apply for a visa. Instead, you can apply online from the comfort of your home.

The online visa process started on January 1, 2025, and now all foreign nationals living in Pakistan and Afghanistan must use the Thai e-visa official website to apply.

How to Apply for Thailand Visa Online

To apply, visit https://www.thaievisa.go.th/. Submit your application online, and once it is approved, you will receive a confirmation email. Print this email and show it to:

• The airline staff at the time of departure.

• Thai immigration officers when you arrive in Thailand.

Minimum Bank Statement Required

To get a Thailand visit visa, you must provide a bank statement for the last six months. The account must show a minimum balance of Rs 350,000 per person.

Thailand Visit Visa Fee for Pakistan (July 2025)

• Rs 19,500 for a one-month visa with a confirmed ticket.

• Rs 27,900 for the same visa without a confirmed ticket.

This new e-visa system makes it easier and faster for Pakistanis to plan their trips to Thailand without long embassy visits.
