First Chup Tazia Procession Sets Out from Nishtar Park Amid Tight Security in Karachi

In Karachi, two Chup Tazia processions are being taken out on the last day of the Ayyam-i-Aza (mourning period).

According to details, the first Chup Tazia procession departed from Nishtar Park, while the second main procession will set out from Golimar after Zuhr prayers.

The first procession of the Chup Tazia departed from Nishtar Park at 8:00 AM, preceded by a gathering (Majlis) where Allama Baqar Zaidi delivered a speech.

A large number of mourners attended the gathering. The procession will pass through Saddar and conclude at Noor Bagh Musafir Khana in Kharadar. Currently, the procession is moving along its traditional route.

Strict security arrangements have been made for the Chup Tazia processions.

The second procession will depart from Imam Bargah Qasr-e-Musaib in Golimar after Zuhr prayers. It will pass through Lasbela and reach Teen Hatti, then proceed past the main gate of the jail and conclude near Imam Bargah Shah Najaf on Martin Road at around 10:00 PM.
