The Met Office has warned that this spell of rains may continue until September 10.
Officials said that heavy rainfall may cause waterlogging in low-lying areas and urban flooding, while flash floods are expected in the hilly regions and streams of District Dadu, and the water level in Hub Dam may rise.
Furthermore, due to strong winds, there is a risk of damage to mud houses, electric poles, billboards, and solar panels.
