Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Meets Families Affected by Kahna Tragedy

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited Kahna to meet the families who lost their children in the tragic incident.

During the visit, she offered her condolences and spent time with the grieving parents. She comforted the mothers and assured the affected families that the Punjab government would stand by them during this difficult time.

The Punjab government announced financial assistance for the victims. Families of each child who died will receive Rs2 million, while each injured person will receive Rs500,000.

Maryam Nawaz handed over compensation cheques to the affected families and directed officials to ensure the best possible medical treatment for those who were injured.

She said no amount of money could ease the pain of parents who had lost their children, but the government would provide every possible support to the families.

The Chief Minister described the loss of the young children as heartbreaking and said the grieving families would not be left alone.

Addressing the parents, Maryam Nawaz said, “The loss of your children is also my own loss,” and expressed her deep sympathy with the affected families.
