Amitabh Bachchan Clarifies Health Rumors After Fans Misinterpret His Post

Bollywood Badhshah Amitabh Bachchan recently encounter speculation about his health from his blog writes, where he mentioned about ICU and surgery. The ‘Piku’ movie star has clarified that, he did not have any surgical procedure. Fans got the wrong idea from the post.

The speculation started after the ‘Paa’ movie actor posted about surgery, intensive care, recovery and the emotional struggle. With no context provided, fans naturally assumed that he was referring to himself.

Amitabh Bachchan Addresses Fans’ Misunderstanding:

Bachachan addresses the speculation which is roaming across the internet. During interview with ‘Variety India’, “I am fine. I have not undergone any surgery. People misunderstood my post. I was giving an example of how difficult the period after ICU and surgery is when you come home and have to deal with that damaged condition,” he said.

He more added, “So, when a champion loses, the most difficult time is when you have to deal with it. I was talking about Argentina’s defeat in the FIFA World Cup. Messi is the champion and he lost. People thought I was talking about myself and assumed I had surgery.”

He also mentioned and firmly confirmed that he is fine, “Absolutely…so far.”

What made fans concerned

The actor’s recent blog post after FIFA final, which indicates about recovering physically to overcoming defeat. He wrote “Surgery and ICU in the hospital. Under the supervision of capable doctors and medical staff. Then being discharged and returning home. This is the most difficult time. You are a champion and then one day you face defeat. This is the most difficult time.”

As he didn’t mention about football and World Cup, so his reader assumed that the actor shared an update about his health, after the blog, he also shared a brief message on X, writing, “The game is over. But the work is still going on” added increasing alarm.

However, the speculation came to an end following his latest clarification.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently busy in his comeback in Ashwatthama in the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, under the direction of  Nag Ashwin along with featuring Prabhas and Kamal Haasan.

His famous show ‘Kaun Baega Crorepati’ also expected to premier on August 10

Additionally, he will feature in Ribhu Dasgupta’s courtroom drama Section 84.
