In a statement, the UN agency UNICEF said they belong to Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Sudan, northeast Nigeria, the Central Sahel, and Yemen.
Furthermore, it said that these countries or regions are experiencing dire humanitarian crises.
Moreover, they are struggling with intensifying food insecurity amid a deadly pandemic of COVID-19.
Meanwhile, threat of famine also looms large.
