APHC leaders laud UNGA president remarks on Kashmir dispute (of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir).

The Hurriyat leaders have hailed United Nations General Assembly president Volkan Bozkir’s remarks.

He had mentioned that he UN Charter and the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council govern the UN policy on the Kashmir dispute.

Moreover, the APHC leaders urged UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and the United Nations Council for Human Rights to take steps to stop genocide of the Kashmiris.

Jammu-based organization United Peace Alliance termed Volkan Bozkir’s remarks a clear rejection of the unilateral steps which India had taken on August 5, 2019.

Meanwhile, Kashmiris organizations condemned the murder and rape of Aasiya and Neelofar by the Indian forces in Shopian in May 2009.

Besides, they demanded probe into the incident.

Moreover, APHC leader Devinder Singh Bhel called for an immediate release of all detained Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders.

The Kashmir Economic Alliance leaders stated that India has made the life of the people of Kashmir miserable on the pretext of corona pandemic.

They further pointed out that the Kashmiris were being deliberately crippled economically.

Meanwhile, Indian forces’ personnel harassed a freelance photojournalist on his way to cover a military operation in Shopian’s Ganapora village.

On the other hand, Social and health workers staged a protest against the anti-people Indian policies in Kupwara.

Meanwhile, gunmen had shot dead two persons in Jablipura area of Bijbhera in Islamabad district.
