Shraddha Kapoor’s Brother Siddhanth Summoned in ₹252 Crore Drug Syndicate Case

22 November, 2025 17:06

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor’s brother, Siddhanth Kapoor, has been summoned by the Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) in connection with a massive ₹252 crore drug syndicate allegedly linked to Dawood Ibrahim’s network. The shocking development has sent ripples through the film industry, with several prominent names reportedly coming under scrutiny.

According to officials, Siddhanth is expected for questioning on November 25 after investigators discovered his alleged involvement in drug-fueled parties attended by high-profile celebrities. “A drug trafficker reportedly claimed that he arranged these luxury parties where several film personalities were present,” authorities said. Siddhanth, known for his roles in films like Shootout At Wadala and Ugly, now finds himself at the center of a rapidly expanding probe that began with a minor drug seizure in February 2024 but soon revealed a far larger operation.

The investigation has exposed a syndicate allegedly run by Salim Dola, a long-time associate of Dawood Ibrahim. The inquiry gained momentum following the arrest of Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh in Dubai, the 15th arrest in the case. Shaikh is reportedly a key handler in the drug supply chain and confessed that the parties he organized were funded with drug money and used to expand distribution networks.

Authorities stated that both the Mumbai Crime Branch and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) are now tracing financial flows, money-laundering routes, and connections within the alleged syndicate. Detailed statements are being collected from individuals whose names surfaced during the investigation.

As the probe deepens, more layers of the syndicate are expected to be unveiled, potentially implicating other Bollywood figures. Siddhanth Kapoor remains under close watch as investigators prepare for another round of questioning that could lead to a major breakthrough in the ₹252 crore case.
