How Quran changes life of Hollywood actor Will Smith

Hollywood actor Will Smith has shed light on the impact of Quran on his life as he read the holy book ‘cover to cover’.

The megastar shared insights into his spiritual journey during a podcast hosted by Egyptian journalist Amr Adeeb.

“The last two years of my life have been a difficult time and my intention turned inward and I read all the holy books, I’ve read the Quran cover to cover during Ramazan this year. This is the spiritual seeking phase of my life,” he said.

The 55-year-old actor was shocked to know that how much Moses was mentioned in the Quran.

“Through the Quran, I’ve related to Moses and [his] experience. I love the simplicity of the Quran. It’s so clear. It’s crystal clear. It’s hard to walk away with a misunderstanding,” further adding, “The spirit of it was so beautiful and clear.”

Moreover, he also opened up how he drew inspiration in parenting from Quran.

He highlighted the concept of personal responsibility outlined in the Quran, which he believes guides his approach to parenting.
