In a tweet Friday, he said the recovered amount equals about $200 million.

With such a recovery level, the volume of corruption in the country could be gauged easily as how the past rulers had looted the country and Sindh province.

Furthermore, he said the actual volume of corruption in the fake account case amounted Rs 5,000 billion.

Meanwhile, opponents of Mr. Zardari used Fawad’s tweet to target Zardari and his PPP’s Sindh government performance.

Particularly, Sindhi intellectuals and activists slammed Mr. Zardari and his party’s Sindh government.

They used social media platforms to do so.

However, pro-Zardari social media users also responded to such critics.
