Shehzad Roy dedicates song to Palestinian children amid Israeli invasion on Gaza

Pakistani singer and social activist Shehzad Roy released a new song which is dedicated to the children of Palestine.

Shehzad shared the music video on social media along with the caption:“We have seen flowers at a funeral, now we are seeing the funeral of flowers.

“This is a song to raise our voices and save the children of Palestine and stop the war.”

The song titled ‘Haqiq Se Mukhoz’ has been directed by Faisal Qureshi while the video is based on the current situation in Palestine.

The music video shows a group of young children happily running through a field full of greenery and the focus turns to a young girl falling onto the grass which then turns into ruins.

The touching video has attracted a lot of media attention and fans of the singer have applauded him for using his platform to voice his support for Palestine.

Posting the video on X, Roy said that this video will raise awareness about the situation in Gaza, especially the innocent children who are losing their lives in this war.

He said Palestine had been suffering from oppression for the past several decades and the war was having a profound effect on the innocent children there.

Shehzad Roy is a singer,music producer known for his philanthropy ventures, education and social activism.He is the founder and president of Zindagi Trust.He was honoured with the prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2005, Sitara-i-Eisaar in 2006 and Sitara-e-Imtiaz in 2018 by the Government of Pakistan.The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime appointed Roy as National Goodwill Ambassador in 2017 as well.
