6th anniversary of massacre of APS Peshawar schoolchildren being held today (Wednesday).

Terrorists attacked Army Public School Peshawar on December 16, 2014.

One hundred forty seven people, including students and teachers embraced martyrdom.

Meanwhile, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan have issued separate statements.

Both of them paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Army Public School and their families.

Governor Shah Farman said the entire nation remain grieved over one of the most tragic terrorists’ attack.

He further hailed these little heroes as our pride and the nation would never forget what they did for the cause of the nation.

In his message, the KP CM Mahmood Khan said the sacrifices of the students martyred in the tragic APS incident would always be remembered.

Moreover, he said the security forces and the nation are united to eliminate terrorism from the society.

The CM said the government would always extend a helping hand to the bereaved families of the APS.

On the other hand, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser also issued message.

He said December 16th reminds us the tragic and barbarous acts of terrorists who killed innocent children and teachers in Army Public School, Peshawar for their nefarious designs.

In a press release, he noted such barbarity and cruelty as unprecedented because no religion allows killing humanity.

Asad Qaiser said scarifies of the innocent children of APS Peshawar will not go waste.

Furthermore, he said the scourge of terrorism and extremism would be rooted out from the society.

He said with support of the nation, the Armed forces have achieved peace and harmony in the country through Zarb-e-Azab operations.
