Islamabad Summer Vacations 2025 Announced for federal schools announced – Check Full Schedule

ISLAMABAD – The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has officially announced the summer vacation schedule for schools under its control in Islamabad.

Federal Schools Summer Vacation

According to the notification, federal schools will remain closed from June 5 to August 1, 2025. However, schools will reopen on August 5 due to Saturday and Sunday offs on August 2 and 3.

The FDE has also issued a change in school timings from May 26 to June 4.
During this period, schools will start at 7:30 AM and end at 12:30 PM due to rising heat levels.

In addition, libraries and IT labs will stay open during the vacations, giving students access to resources throughout the break.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Summer Vacation Schedule 2025

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government also shared its holiday plan:

• Primary schools in warm areas: Holidays from June 1 to August 31

• High and Higher Secondary schools in warm areas: Holidays from June 15 to August 31

• Schools in cold regions: Break from July 1 to July 31

These holidays will apply to both public and private institutions in the province.

Balochistan Schools Summer Break 2025

In Balochistan’s hot regions, summer break began on May 17 and will continue till July 31.
All schools will reopen on August 1, which falls on a Friday.

Punjab Summer Vacations 2025

The Punjab Education Department has confirmed that schools will close from June 1 to August 14, 2025.

Due to the increasing heatwave and climate concerns, officials said the break could start earlier if temperatures continue to rise sharply.

Sindh Summer Holidays 2025

In Sindh, all public and private schools will observe summer vacations from June 1 to July 31.
The education department has denied rumors of earlier holidays, confirming the dates remain unchanged.
