Pakistan, US Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Developments in Islamabad

Islamabad: U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad today.
The meeting focused on Pakistan-U.S. bilateral cooperation and recent regional developments.
Ishaq Dar underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in achieving lasting peace and stability.
The deputy prime minister appreciated the positive trajectory in Pakistan-U.S. relations and stressed the need for regular engagement on issues of mutual interest.
Referring to the upcoming 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Ishaq Dar noted that Pakistan’s delegation would be led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
