US informed Pakistan about ‘Ukraine position’

Washington-The United States has communicated to Pakistan its positionregarding Russia’s farther irruption of Ukraine, State Department prophet Ned Price said on Wednesday, as Prime Minister Imran Khan heads to Moscow for addresses with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“ We believe it’s a responsibility of every responsible country around the world to state concern, to state expostulation, to what Putin appears to have in mind for Ukraine,” Price said.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will meetRussian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday. During the peak meeting, the two leaders will review the entirediapason of bilateral relations includingenergy cooperation, according to the Foreign Office.
They will also have a widerangingexchange of views on major indigenousand transnational issues, includingIslamophobia and the situation in Afghanistan.
The State Department prophet also said a Russian irruption of Ukraine remains potentially imminent, adding that Washington has not seen any suggestionof Russians backing down.

Price told journalists the United States would be willing to engage in tactfulnesswith Moscow if it showsde-escalation on Ukraine.
