Saeeda Imtiaz Prefers Foreign Partner, Says Pakistani Men Are Unfaithful

Actress Saeeda Imtiaz has publicly voiced her skepticism regarding the faithfulness of Pakistani men, stating a clear preference for marrying a foreigner over a local partner.

In a recent interview on a private television channel, the actress candidly discussed her views on marriage, fidelity, and the qualities she seeks in a life partner.

Describing the concept of arranged marriage as “intimidating,” Imtiaz emphasized the necessity of mutual compatibility and understanding prior to committing to marriage. “Arranged marriages seem scary to me,” she stated, “there should be compatibility and understanding between two people before marriage.”

When asked about her own future plans, she expressed a preference for a hybrid model of marriage, noting, “I would prefer a love-cum-arranged marriage. However, I wish not to marry a Pakistani man but rather a foreigner.”

Elaborating on her stance, Imtiaz said, “In my view, most Pakistani men are unfaithful, whereas infidelity is far less common among men in other countries. My brothers and sisters live in New York, where men are not allowed to have multiple marriages.”

She also pointed to broader moral challenges she perceives within Pakistani society. “I’ve even heard of cases where a woman married her own sister’s fiancé,” she remarked. “Women should avoid relationships with married men so they don’t destroy another woman’s home.”

When asked how she handles inappropriate advances from married men, the actress replied, “If a married man sends me messages, I warn him that I’ll send screenshots of our chat to his wife — that’s when they usually back off.”

Imtiaz’s comments have sparked conversation online, shedding light on prevailing social issues and the personal standards she upholds in relationships.
